Denver is ranked the #1 on the list of Best Places to Live yet Denver’s Park Hill Neighborhood still feels like a small town in a growing city. The American Planning Association listed Park Hill as one of the “10 Great Neighborhoods in America for 2008”, it is one of Denver’s oldest and most cherished neighborhoods.  Neighbors, some who’ve known each other for decades, greet each other as they meet at Cake Crumbs Bakery for their morning coffee, browse through the Park Hill Community Bookstore and dine at the local French restaurant, Bistro Barbes. We know each other, embracing our different styles, backgrounds, cultures and ethnicities, brought together in a love of our community.

The neighborhood is ideally positioned, offering easy access to downtown and Denver International Airport. Sports & music venues, City Park (and Jazz in the Park), the Denver Zoo, Denver Museum of Nature & Science, sports venues, pocket parks, shopping, restaurants, yoga studios, and coffee shops are always close by, making Park Hill the perfect location.  You’ll find an array of great schools in and around Park Hill including Park Hill Elementary, McAuliffe International School, Denver School of the Arts, and the Denver School of Science and Technology . One reason so many families choose to buy in Park Hill is because it guarantees entry into a Denver favorite, East High School.

To capture the spirit of Park Hill in a word, it’s pride, and you’d be hard-pressed to find a resident of Park Hill who isn’t proud of where they live. We love our dogs, our bikes, our children, our local business owners, and our neighbors. Architecturally diverse, Park Hill is home to stately mansions, the Denver Square, Craftsman bungalows, Tudors, Spanish Revival, Mid-Century ranches and post-World War II Cape Cods rest on some of the largest lots in the city, and with homes ranging from the low $300s to over a million, there’s a place for everyone in Park Hill.

Lovers, zombies, a hurricane… what more could you expect from a Wicked Bayou? If we’ve ever met (or you read my ol’ Huffington Post blog), you’re well aware how much I love Denver’s favorite dance troupe, Wonderbound. Known for the brilliant choreography of Garrett Ammon, artistic collaboration, and live music, Wonderbound is kinetic storytelling of […]

  • 2022 Denver Real Estate Q2 Market ReportAugust 8, 2022 - 2:23 pm

The numbers are in and it’s been a wild ride! The year started with an insane first quarter, with buyers offering more than $100k over asking price, waiving inspections, covering appraisal gaps. And then, interest rates went up, showings dropped off, prices came down, and the market got… quiet. It is common for the […]
